net360 resiFibre 5000 and resiFibre 10000 is our 5 & 10Gbps residential fibre plan, designed for customers who need extreme performance and have the right network setup to support it.
Before the service is confirmed, we will complete a qualification check of your premises, network setup, and equipment. This plan can only be provided where certified 10G-capable network hardware is used.
This helps ensure the service can be delivered properly and that your internal equipment is capable of supporting the speeds available on the plan.
Our fibre network is designed and provisioned to deliver strong, consistent speeds, including during busy evening periods.
That said, your actual experience can still be affected by factors outside of the NET360 network, including:
Wi-Fi congestion
Wi-Fi performance can vary depending on distance from the router, walls, interference, older devices, and the number of devices connected. For the best performance, we recommend using an Ethernet cable where possible.
Device limitations
Older phones, laptops, routers, network cards, or cables may not be capable of reaching the full speed of your plan, especially on higher-speed services.
Congestion on the service you are using
Streaming platforms, gaming servers, websites, cloud services, and content providers can experience their own congestion or performance issues, which may affect your experience.
Internet routing or external network issues
Sometimes the wider internet is affected by outages, damaged fibre links, submarine cable issues, upstream carrier problems, or routing changes outside our control.
In short: Net360 plans its network to minimise peak-time congestion, but end-to-end performance can still depend on your home network, your devices, and the external services you connect to.
No. NET360 resiFibre does not use the NBN network.
The service is delivered over NET360’s fibre network, which allows us to offer higher-speed residential plans, including speeds above those commonly available on standard residential NBN services.
For standard plans, many compatible WiFi modems may work when configured correctly. However, higher-speed plans such as resiFibre 5000 and resiFibre 10000 require suitable 10G-capable hardware and are subject to a qualification check.
